About Author
Andrea Vorpahl ran her first marathon, The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on October 6, 2013. As a nurse at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, she deals with children and cancer. She decided to dedicate each mile of the marathon to someone who has or had cancer and raise money for the Cancer Research Institute. She blogged her training and then each cancer for the 26 miles.
It was a very emotional experience for those who contributed stories and their families. As her mother I decided to put her blog into book form. Internet is great, but sometimes you want something with this much meaning to hold in your hands & your heart.
