This is my journal while dealing with throat cancer. I have written facts, opinions, helpful hints for patients dealing with cancer. It is my personal journey and my personal comments and actual events that occurred while enduring this terrible disease.I hope it helps other cancer patients to know they are not alone or different while also going through their treatments.

I am a senior who won the battle with throat cancer. I have had a husband, two sisters, one brother, a nephew who all died from lung cancer. I have a son who has been treated for skin cancer. And a niece who was treated for breast cancer. Those genes are in my family. It just took longer for it's ugly head to rear upon me. I am an avid animal lover especially the wildlife and the Rottie breed of dog. I also am creative and have had a successful invention of a self cleaning dog brush. I like designing and gardening. I also write poems. I would love to travel more but don't fly and do not like to drive much anymore. But I am willing to go with anyone who wants to do that with me. They have to like my dog.
