It is a scene no parent would ever want to think about, finding their toddler next to an empty pill bottle, but it is better to be prepared. According the the American Association of Poison Control Centers 2,334,004 total exposure incidents with 1,144,729 of those incidents from children five years old and under (Annual Reports). That is almost half of all the exposure incidents. This book may be used as a guide for parents so that they may learn how to prevent this from happening to their children, how to discuss this issue with their child, and most importantly what should they do if their child happened to take a medication that they weren't supposed to.
