All of us are a mere incident away from the edge of insanity. Some manage to walk that tightrope without plunging over the precipice, while other weaker individuals have neither the strength nor the ability to retain their balance. Swimming Alone is the story of one Roger Troxall, an advertising executive in Los Angeles, who hits a bump in the road of life and plummets into the depths and despairs of hell.
