It is always fun to get away after the Christmas holidays and this year, now that we are Italian citizens, it seemed like a great time to revisit Italy. We left on December 27th and returned on January 4th. With 6 of us traveling which included 3 children, renting apartments with kitchens and laundry facilities was a perfect choice. We stayed in Siena for the first seven days and then settled into Rome for the end of the trip. As you will see in this book, we took lots of interesting day trips and had many terrific experiences.

Henry. Jamie and Louisa live in Ho-Ho-Kus New Jersey where they have many friends and a great network of aunts, uncles and cousins. While they each have very distinct personalities, they are best buddies and love to play together.
Henry is eight years old and is sweet, curious and caring. He creates amazing stories when engaging in imaginative play with his dinosaurs, animals and figurines.
Jamie is five and focused, determined and silly. He also loves cooking and imaginative play, dressing up for many different occupations. But most important in his life is his job a the consumate construction contractor.
Louisa, soon to be 3, is social, fun loving and "living her best life". She is busy at all times taking care of her babies, dressing up in the most glamorous outfits she can put together and generally running the household.
Together they make an amazing threesome!
