Sam the Whale Shark feels like an outcast in his new school, Great White Academy. All of the other sharks hang with their own kind, but he is the only whale shark in school. While the other sharks ravenously devour whole fish for lunch, Sam hangs back and quietly filters plankton by himself. How will he ever fit in?
Elizabeth Mulroney is a first year graduate student in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Texas Woman's University. In addition, she holds a degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Elizabeth has worked as a student coordinator for CoPIRG and as an environmental advocate for local water conservation groups. Upon graduation, she hopes to teach middle school social studies.
