This past Spring of 2014, my husband, Dean, and I recently adopted a young, wild mother cat and her three kittens (Mamma, Scaredy Cat, Little Buddies and Tigger). With the harsh winters here in New York, we brought them inside where they have adjusted quite nicely and are making themselves quite comfortable throughout our home.

My name is Laura Anne Lord.
I was born on October 3 in the year 1965 at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland
to Jeanette and James Lord.
I have three brothers and two sisters.
I currently reside in Middletown, New York with my husband.
I have always enjoyed writing, poems, essays, short stories, music lyrics.
It has been my best form of communicating my thoughts and feelings to those around me.
I thoroughly enjoy creating my own greeting cards on my home computer for all occasions for family, friends and acquaintances.
I enjoy a wide variety of music, reading, art and cooking.
I enjoy taking photographs.
I enjoy playing the piano.
I enjoy animals.
I enjoy traveling and discovering new things.
I find people and the lives they choose to live very fascinating.

I love children and truly believe that each child is a miracle and a gift from God.
