An old Omega wolf, mistakenly left behind by it's pack, struggles to survive in the harsh Canadian winter. Upon meeting a smart, young she-wolf a series of dramatic changes in his life begin.
The first? Two new arrivals, abandoned and helpless.
The second is a ripping grief, unknown to most.
The third is rebirth, as a powerful legacy.
The fourth tangles with humans, and their twisted ways.
Told by Barren--an orphaned pup just a few months old, this is a tale of sorrow, determination, love, and protection. The Barren Legacy runs in the wolves veins and calls to them . . . now they must answer.

I am: a writer, a reader, a singer, a swimmer. A creator, a maker, a go to bed late-er. An artist, a dreamer, a coffee with creamer; a poet, a know-it, a low-lit . . . old light bulb. I am: an explorer . . . who's border . . . is way past the sky.
I am escaping.
There are two sides to my card. One is black. One is white. The card flips every now and then. Sometimes the card flips so fast it gets ripped. Sometimes people come and tape it back up. But even then, the rip is still there.
Hi. Let me introduce myself. My name is Luann Jung, I turned 11 this year on March 25. I'm about 5'2. This August I will go to middle school-it starts at 7th grade here. I'm Asian but born in the USA. I have a dog and two cats, although I've had 11 pets in my lifetime. I spend lots of time on the computer; writing, reading, and exploring. I love digital art and technology in general. I hope you enjoy my books as much as I do . . . have a nice day.
