About the Book

PLEASE NOTE: characters listed in book may or may not be people in reality. However, if they are, please do not feel offended as these characters are products of the author's imagination and are completely coincidental.

(this is a rewritten version of the Hunger Games.)

In Corvett, the future lands of present-day USA, there is a yearly event called the Battle Games. Fifty contestants, or tributes, come from all around Corvett to go to the capital in which the games take place. The Battle Games is an event in which a male and a female from each of the twenty-five districts join together and fight to the death in a high-tech arena with weapons and terrain. But here's the catch: since the place is high-tech, workers who control the Battle Games have the ability to make anything happen. They create what they WANT to happen. They could create floods, fires, thunder storms, explosions, and endless other possibilities.

My name is Kaitlyn. I live in New Hampshire. My favorite food, of course, just has to be fudge. I also love things coated in salt. I'd literally chug down a whole salt jar, if I wouldn't die from eating it (and my parents would let me)! My besties are (1) Ava, and (2) Ashley. I've known Ava for about eight years and Ashley's a new friend. But she's a good friend. How else did she become to be a best friend?

My instagram account is @ktd527. I rarely check it, so it may take months to, you know, have me accept your request, if you request me.

In my profile pic here, it shows me playing the Clarinet. But I hate the clarinet. That was totally last year. I play the viola, now.

I live with my mom, dad, cat, dog, and annoying little brother. I'm the oldest in my family, my dog's no more than 3, and my cat's a whooping 16 (and still living)!

So...um... yeah. I'm a really good writer, I must have written at least 100 books. But I come up with new ideas so quickly, I can't finish my oldies.
