The second book in the Alice series is about a trip that she takes with her parents to the city zoo. The zoo is in turmoil, but Alice saves the day by discovering what went wrong with the drinking water.

Elvera M. Rexroth-Reese grew up writing. She started putting words to paper in her first "mystery novelette" in the 8th grade. Since then, there have been numerous poems and childrens' books. In 2008, her first book, "Luminar," was published. Deep down, poetry remains perhaps her favorite venue.
