About Author
Kristie James is a Bay Area Native with a flare for color, originality and all things odd. The self-taught artist has been practicing in various mediums for over 45 years and excels in mosaic art, recycled goods sculpture, woodworking, and most recently acrylic painting and photography. Although her day includes food photography, her painting inspiration influences include Joan Miro, and the simplicity in children’s artwork. Like Kristie’s personality, her art will make you chuckle. She just starting to create and design children's books.
