A children's book about a tiny pumpkin, in the midst of a field full of thousands of pumpkins, feeling small and overlooked, and yet desperately wanting to become the prize pumpkin at the State Fair. Ridiculed for her small size, and less than perfect shell, yet still she would not be detoured from pursuing her dream, becoming the queen of all pumpkins, and winning the crown that set her apart from all the rest.

In June of 2018, I felt inspired to put together a Pumpkin Patch in my little town. So I began working and planning, and my end result was over 600 students from surrounding schools, my very first year! I really wanted to incorporate a story during their activity time that would remind those listening, that everyone is special in their own way, and that no matter how small or insignificant one might feel, there is always a higher purpose, with the ability to pursue dreams and see those dreams come to fruition!
