About the Book

Christmas shopping takes an unexpected turn.

When a young girl finds a happy pair of Christmas slippers at an antique store, she discovers there is more to them than meets the eye. The slippers call her to accompany them on a magical journey through time and space, where the two proclaim the good news of Jesus’ birth to all they meet.

This sweet rhyming story, with a coloring sheet and activity page will remind children and parents alike of the reason we celebrate Christmas and the joy of telling others about Jesus.

Carolyn Snelling has two advanced degrees, yet it is her studies through UCLA’s Picture Book class that shaped her writing mechanics. Carolyn was inspired to write The Christmas Slippers after several of her friends donated slippers to HopeKids, an organization that brings hope and the love of Jesus to children with life-threatening illnesses.
