To date I have found four separate Ciampanella families and hope in time to connect them as records from Ellis Island keep mentioning visiting cousins.
The first Ciampanella Family is Carmine and Beatrice Desantis Ciampanella and their children:
Domenica, Domenic, Lucia and Sante.
The second Ciampanella/Champnella Family is Ferdinando and Annie Ciampanella and their children: Edoard, Loretto, Annibale "Zip", Pietro Noe, Ferdinando and Guistina.
The third Ciampanella Family Antonio and Giuditta Santolini.
