The color of our skin is a way to show everyone that there is diversity all around us. Diversity can help open our minds to new perspectives.

I am from Rawlins, Wyoming. I was born and raised there. I have a four year old daughter. My daughter and I are of Hispanic origin. I welcome diversity in my family and I want everyone to learn to be aware that although it may not seem like there is diversity around us, there actually is quite a bit of diversity around each and every one of us.
