The Community Violence Intervention Lab

This is a companion workbook for The Community Violence Intervention Lab. A virtual and live event series that has been created to put community organization experience at the center of implementation of a public health infrastructure to end Chicago’s violence epidemic. Ten community organizations from each of the ten most violence impacted communities combine their knowledge, best evidence from local and national practices, and community-based data to maximize impact for new public funds targeted to these areas in 2022. Through this community-led planning, collaboration, and intentionality, Chicago will become a more peaceful and safer place for all.
