Florida artist, Janet Caissey, has been drawing and painting ever since early childhood. After receiving her degree in fine arts from the University of Florida, she moved to South America where she taught painting and drawing for many years at her own academy of art.
Now located in Seminole, Florida, she continues to experiment in multiple areas of artistic expression, including portraits in oil, portraits in pencil, abstract impressionism, flowers and landscapes; and now book illustrations and storytelling.
