About the Book

What did we hope to achieve by writing this book? Originally we saw it as a form of therapy to cope with all that 2020 had to offer; COVID, quarantine, isolation and fear. Halfway through the project, we knew that the immersion required by the writing was indeed powerful therapy but also a surprise started to unfold. Somewhere along the way, the book transformed into a compelling vision of what our country could be and this drove us to share it with others. The Dawn of a New United States of Shudom is proudly presented to the world as a published book. This book was never intended to provide a roadmap for how one gets from where we are today to a Shudom state. It was instead intended to share our unbridled vision of what our country could become if we were guided by only creativity and common sense. If we've inspired you to read the book, great. We believe that by doing so, you will become more hopeful and ready to embrace the future.

Maggie Kinnaman has written three family biographies and her own autobiography. She and her brother Mike Shuster are now collaborating on a book entitled, The Dawn of a New United States of Shudom. This book is taken from the work that they completed earlier, conveyed through a blog of the same name. They desire that family and friends will benefit from this no nonsense vision of a common sense government with as little focus on politics as is possible.
