I learned to cook from my very inventive Father, who traveled the world for a living. Grew up in a family of Ten children so I know how to cook for Quantity as well as Quality and economizing is a key. Cooking is a hobby as well as growing my own produce and canning and freezinf vegetables and meals ahead of time. I cook mostly from scratch, but occasionally count on a boxed something or other to use as a base or one of my primary ingredients. Economy is the key and outstanding flavor, nutritional value, and low fat when possible are primary.
