About the Book
I am very happy to have edited 136 Gogyoshi from about 30 countries all over the world. Last August in 2018, I invited 115 Gogyoshi of Love for Mother or Father and invited 21 Gogyoshi in January, 2019 for “The First Anthology of World Gogyoshi”.
I’m not an inventor of Gogyoshi. I don’t know who is the inventor of Gogyoshi in the world. It has been written spontaneously by some poets in Japan since 2000. I am an introducer of Gogyoshi from Japan to the world, but I published a definition of Gogyoshi in English on December 2, 2018 because no one had given it yet and many poets didn’t know the meaning of Gogyoshi clearly.

About Author
Taro Aizu was born in the Aizu region of Fukushima prefecture, Japan. He lives in Kanagawa near Tokyo now. He has been writing haiku for 20 years in Japanese, gogyoshi for 12 years in Japanese, and both for5 years in English and French.
