Barbara Fulmer Gary was born in Greenville, SC, and lived there until she entered SMU in Dallas, Texas. Married to Jordan Chick Gary, they have four children, Patrick, Noelle, Aaron, and Tiffany and four grandchildren. She is a school teacher in Wichita Falls, Texas, and a pianist.
