This story is a reflection of the experience of a five year old as a result of a fire that broke out at the condominium where he lived.

Richard wrote this book when he was five. He was a budding artist and had a special section on his bedroom wall where he could express his artistic talent.
He drew the pictures for this book after there was a fire at his condominium. He dictated the words to his mother who preserved the book.
Richard is now a 14 year old freshman in high school and attends the BioHealth Magnet Program at Ridgeview High School. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine.
