The Key to the Heart" is a spiritual journey of searching for the key to one's happiness. The illustrations are created to enhance the experience for a child's imagination while bring the characters to life. The main character is the Soul, who was convinced it had no heart because all it could feel was a deep hole filled with emptiness. Throughout the book the Soul searches for a key that would unlock the heart and fill the hole, thinking this will bring happiness and fulfillment. While on a spiritual journey of searching the Soul encounters other characters who help with finding different pathways of discovery.

I spent a majority of my life in Connecticut. In my early 50's I moved down to Florida to start a different life. As a photographer and graphic designer, I take pleasure in expressing my artistic vision. As a child I wrote poems and short stories expressing my feelings. This was another form of art to me.
