About Author
Cara D. Martin-Behan, a native of Louisiana and a local author and artist of historical Natchitoches, Louisiana, is the daughter of David Byron Martin and Dawn M. Basco-Martin. Cara's siblings are Amber N. Martin, Brianna D.Martin-Carter, and David Alexander Martin. Her love for writing and children were passed down to her from er mother at an early age. As a young child, Cara and her siblings took turns telling stories while sitting on their mother's lap, bringing tears of joy and laughter and a lifetime of childhood memories!
