Alex, a 12 year old boy who lives for adventure is walking home one day when he finds a strange house. In it, he discovers a solid gold key. He comes back to the house every day after that. One day, he locates a mysterious door with weird symbols on it. This door, as he soon finds out, is actually a gateway to a whole other world! Alex and his friends Jordan and Isabelle soon realize, ,however, that just as they can go from their side to the other, things from the other side can come back to theirs.
