About Author
The author is a US Diplomat and an artist. She studied Visual Arts and Photography in college before changing career paths to focus on the Middle East and International Human Rights. Her true passion is art and creativity. She has 2 beautiful children, Tristan and Marigny, that are her inspiration. This story came to her in a dream after watching her friends suffer through the painful process of waiting for a transplant for their son. They stayed close to the hospital for 2+ years while hoping that they would finally be number 1 on the list. Their son received his heart transplant in January 2015 and this is her way of helping share their story. The story of any parent who has had to wait on an organ transplant for their child, not knowing if they will get the call in time.
