Description

It was a sunny day. I’ve had the most epic summer ever! I’m talking fair ribbons, horse wash offs, riding with my sister Gracie and friends Gianna and Riley, they are in the Mayfield Flaming Hooves, and even a new bit! Until that dreadful day, that day when the news was out. Could I think of a good plan in one month before the selling day? I have one way that could work. It probably could solve “the problem” I’ve been stuck on for a week. A circus! The Flaming Hooves and I could join one.We could join the Prancing Horses Circus that comes to Mayfield every year!It won’t be easy, but I trust the team motto, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” which is usually true. I would never think of putting a price tag on love. Will love and determination outvote the bills? This awesome horse lover book shows the journey of everyday life.

Hi! My name is Elsie, student at Promenade Stables. I am a horse fanatic and animal lover. If you are just starting to ride, I am the person to help you. There are two categories of bits: snaffle and curb. The other things are that there are two simple types of main saddles that I use: Western and English. The most important fact is…the four gaits that any horse can do are walk, trot, canter and gallop. If you want to ride rein less, don’t be scared. The first phase for anything is look where you’re going, bump or give a quick noise like a click or a kiss. Look, bump, kiss. If you are doing a small jump, go up in a 2 point, or stand and lean in the saddle. You do this because it puts less weight on the horse’s back when their hooves go off the ground. If the jump is raised more than three feet, you must go into the 2 point. When cantering, don’t bob your chin. It feels like you’re on a swing, so, so rock back and forth, with the horse’s beat, scoop, swing,..
