About Author
Did you know I was supposed to be named Ron after my uncle who passed away? My birthday is January 29, it is 10 days after my sister Emily’s birthday. I have two sisters, both of whom are older than me. Their names are Jenny and Emily. My dad’s name is Rich for Richard and my mom’s name is Laurie. These are the people who named me Ben instead of Ron, because it was too hard for my grandparents. My uncle Ron had died just a few months before I was born. My dad is a doctor at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. My mom is the vice president of my lower school and a corporate lawyer. My family is the most special thing to me whether I am on a trip somewhere or at home. I have been writing poetry for four months, and now I would like you to see my poems spill out on the pages right in front of you.
