“Mom?” I groaned, getting up slowly. “MOM… DAD?” I quickly got up.
“I don’t even want to know.” My dad said, turning his face to the door.
“Guys.. it’s not what it looks like,” I think I said, nudging Mateo up.
“Huh?” He groaned. “Wait.. whe-” Before he continued, my dad exploded. I’m not going to repeat everything he said, mostly because I don’t remember but also because I promised myself I’d never say anything like he said.
“With all due respect sir, I did nothing to your daughter, and I have no intention to until we’re married.” Mateo said, grabbing his jacket and storming out of the room. I huffed at my parents following Mateo close behind.
“Mateo! Wait up!” I yelled, rushing down the stairs.
