Rosetta is an ordinary girl who lives in a small town with her ill brother Rick and her disabled mother Rosalind. Her father is currently searching for an antidote called the Flower of Dreams that blooms once in a thousand years in winter. But he never return.
Rosetta also have a childhood friend, Kyle - they used to play together in the Cherry Blossom Park. Kyle and Rosetta tried to maintain their friendship.
To spend her lonely days, she always come to the Mermaid's Lake. Legend said that if we come to the pond everyday, a mermaid will appear and grant us one wish. Rosetta do come to the lake everyday, but the mermaid never appear.
