To encourage a growth mindset, The Power of Yet follows a young child on her journey of completing challenges she previously thought impossible using the "power of yet." By saying she can't do it "yet" she is saying that it is possible for her to achieve her goals, and thus perseveres to achieve them.

Erin Schmitz is a young author committed to the empowerment and education of future generations and the well being of our global community. As the winner of the AFS Project Change competition in 2017, she experienced the power that environmental education and global awareness has on our youth. She hopes to continue to encourage others to advocate for each other and the Earth.
