About Author

As an alumnus of the Baltimore School for the Performing Arts, Mark A. Peay learned early on, the importance and power of excellence, leadership and service. As the youngest of 10 kids, it seemed like he was always serving someone at some time or another. So as he grew up in both the classical, gospel and R&B music influences and industries, it was a no-brainer for him to serve the various artists that he's been blessed to play for. The first major artist that he served as an MD (Musical Director) for was R & B recording artist Kelly Price and went on to serve Tyler Perry, Loretta Devine, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and others. After life on the road traveling across the country and around the world, Mark knew that as both an educator and a creative, he needed to begin teaching, training and empowering up and coming musicians, leaders and creatives to "level up" and produce not just musical growth, but artistic greatness. Mark enjoys life with his beautiful wife Nicole and his amazing kids.
