Virgil Ophiccan, the crown prince of a kingdom known as Arcana, lives life every day prepared for a fight. His own people war amongst each other in order that they may be the one to kill him -- the one who has the power of Darkness and Light in both hands. Essentially a fugitive in his own kingdom, Virgil questions whether anyone will ever be free of this violence if he remains alive. What he doesn't know, is that death is not the answer. He must live to do what only he can do.
