Olive is excited to start her first day of school but realizes quickly that she is not welcomed by some of her classmates. She becomes saddened by this and eventually tells her mom which helps her to get through this tough time at school.

Hi! I am Joscelyn Mandall (The author of this book). I am 12 years old and in the 7th grade. I am a huge supporter of Crown Cares which stands for Creating A Respectful Environment is Schools/Society. This topic is personal to me because I have been bullied before
and know first hand how it feels. I wanted to write a book that would hopefully encourage kids to not “be the bully” and also teach kids who are “bullied”, how to handle the situation.
