A poem about the beauty and wonder of Spring.
James Pisano was born in Philadelphia, PA to a loving family who nurtured his love for reading by reading to him at night before bed. Through the years, his love for reading grew and he passed that love to his children by reading to them at night. He was inspired to write the Shine of Spring during the spring of his freshmen year at Columbia University when he heard a Welsh poem set to music in his humanities class. He now resides in Somerset with his family and when he is not contemplating the Shine of Spring, he works as a pathologist.
