During WWII a group of African-American men, enlisted in the Air Force. These men became known as the Tuskegee Airmen. They faced racial tension everywhere they looked. Not only was it from within the American military, but it was also seen in the American society. In addition to this Hitler despised African-Americans and placed them in concentration camps as well. In spite of all of the racial tension faced, these men proved themselves; and gained the respect they truly deserved.
