What inspired me to write this crime story?
My inspiration to write Silent Web stems from my extensive experience as a psychologist, particularly in treating complicated patients and exploring the depths of forensic psychology. Over the years, I’ve encountered the delicate balance between healing and harm—a balance that can easily tip when profound psychological knowledge is misused. In forensic psychology, the intersection between criminal behavior and mental health reveals just how dangerous the mind can be when pushed to its limits.
I’ve often reflected on what happens when the past we try to heal refuses to stay buried, and how the very tools designed to help can become lethal in the wrong hands. Silent Web is born from these reflections. Through real-life cases and the complexities of therapy, I wanted to explore the darker layers of forensic psychology—how trust, vulnerability, and expertise can spiral into manipulation and murder when twisted.
