Immanuel "Manu" Sorflaten was born and raised in Fairfield, IA. Manu learned from a young age to meditate, as Fairfield is the western epicenter of Transcendental Meditation. Meditation feeds art. Art feeds meditation. Art has always been a part of Manu's spirit and has carried him throughout his life. Through meditation and art, we can make the world what we want it to be, whatever form that takes.
