- Wolves. They call out to him. They beckon to him. They are his best friend. Chemlos, the One with Many Names is ruler of all wolves. Chemlos the twelve year old boy living in the wild.
- Chemlos grows to love the wild. He has wolves for company, berries for food, basically everything he didn't have when he was a city boy. He tries to avoid all other humans, but that just doesn't work out.
- Chemlos meets an elderly man named Joedon, who appears to know all about him. They become fast friends, and work together to avoid the Kingdom. But Chemlos keeps an eye on Joedon. He knows that the old man is peculiar...
- One day, he is outwitted. Chemlos gets captured by the Kingdom, ruled by the family of Max. He does escape, but at what cost? The Kingdom trusts the outside world less than they did before.
With the Kingdom looking for him and his animal friends, Chemlos works hard to prepare for the day the Kingdom catches him, because that day is just around the corner...
