Being a nanny, I have spent a lot of time working with children in different capacities and this has helped me developed a keen sense of what children like, dislike and think. Children give my ideas, and I write.
I live with my 2 children, husband and 2 beautiful Corgis, Be-bop and Jack.
Hello everyone,
Many of you many know by now, I've been writing children stories for a couple of years. My first completed book, "The Story of the Little Evergreen Tree", is a joint effort between myself and a few talented, bright children I have crossed paths with in the last few years. I am very excited to finally see one of my stories in a book form and the children should be very proud to see their efforts put together to tell this story. They all did a fine job!
Because this project was accomplished in part by children, I would like to donate part of the proceeds to a charity that will benefit or stimulate another child. If the children enjoyed designing this book as much as I did, I would like to organized an effort like this every year. I hope to open the minds and hearts of young people to recognized that with a little effort and work, anything can be accomplished.
It is my desire to reach out to as many young people as possible, therefore I ask you to forward this e-mail to family and friends for their enjoyment.
Thank you for your support,
Catherine Martin
