Ever wondered where everything came from? The moon, the sky, the animals. It didn’t just pop out of nowhere. Well not exactly.
In the Catholic Bible, in the book of Genesis, The Creation Story is shared. This shares with us the history of God and how he created heaven and earth. Most Christians or Catholics’ beliefs are rested upon this story.
However, the traditional Aboriginals disagree. Their history and ancestors believe in a different creation story; a period called “The Dreamtime”. This crucial part of their history is an important part of recognizing the impenetrable bond traditional Aborigines have for the land and their culture.
Throughout this storybook, both creation stories are shared in the hope that people all around us, can see all aspects of the unique and imaginative world we live in.
