The Wolf and Me - The Wolf Who Became Family

My story begins in May, on this exact day, early in the morning. Today started like any other day. I woke from my sleep and started my morning chores. I don’t know how to explain this, but I had a feeling that something extraordinary was going to happen. I went out to the hen house and started collecting eggs. Later that evening, I went for a walk along the beach.

As I walked toward the beach, I thought I saw a wolf. It didn’t come close, but it looked like it was curious about me. As I kept walking, it began to follow me; when I reached the beach, I sat down on the sand. Then the wolf did something I never thought it would do. As I was sitting on the beach, it came right up and sat beside me. For a moment, I felt that maybe this was somebody’s dog that looked a bit like a wolf.
