It is also intended to help children appreciate and notice the beauty and sounds we have all around us every day and to want to further explore the world of birds.

Gary Penley is a dedicated bird photographer, bird watcher, hiker and committed family man who has a deep appreciation for all of God's creatures on earth whether on land, sea or in the air. He has raised 4 children, has 16 grandchildren and enjoys time with all of them and loves to take them to zoos, parks, streams and on nature hikes. He has a special passion for traveling, learning about as many birds as possible, experiencing nature, and being in the outdoors.
