Lets be honest, things aren't great. They are often bad, sometimes terrible. But Caleb has never really paid much attention to those things, always positive (hence his lack of knowledge in reality and Osama Bin Laden). For once he does pay attention, which leads him to the gorgeous, grunge, and oh so rebellious Linnea, or just call her Lin. Once they've met, nothing is EVER the same. They sometimes wished they haven't. But all in all in the end... wait can't tell you that. Sorry. Just read the book.
