I am 71 years old and have been married for 54 glorious years. I have 3 wonderful children, James Allen, Jerry Del and Tina Rene'. They have given me 7 grand grandchildren, and 11 darling great grandchildren.
I worked for two local newspapers for 35 years. I served as Circulation Manager and loved my job and all the staff and independent carriers. I have meet many wonderful people in my work career and many have inspired some of my work.
I worked as an Assistant Property Manager for a Luxury Apartment Complex in Lufkin, Texas until retirement for the 2nd time.
I have now moved back to my hometown of Henderson, Texas where I work as an Administrative Assistant at our church, New Life
Life is good!! Always believe in yourself.
I have been writing poems for many years.My family are the only ones who have read them, but my late Mother always encouraged me to publish them in a book for others to enjoy.Now my daughter,Tina and granddaughter,Brooke are doing the same. As most were written with family,friends or special events in mind I wasn"t sure how others would receive them...but here goes. Hope you enjoy them.
