A book of poetry and short stories. Writing takes me to a place that is my own, the imagination is a wonderful thing that lets you go to beautiful places in your mind. Reality has many facets, some happy, some sad. This book is the journey of realities and imaginary stories. Enjoy.

Born in Greece in 1934 during a time of war and poverty, I am the youngest of three children. I know what it is like to have very little in life and I have learned to appreciate all the gifts that were granted to me by God. I was blessed with wonderful parents who made every sacrifice to help me be the woman I've become. My blessings continued with the love of my wonderful uncle who had the ability to send me to America to go to college. It was in America that I met my best friend, my husband Michael and that was when my journey began. I was blessed with two beautiful daughters who gave me six grandchildren, the jewels of my life. Then I was blessed again when my granddaughter, my namesake gave my the ultimate gift of a great grandson. Through the years since I was a young girl I put my thoughts into words of poetry and short stories in both English and Greek. With the help of my oldest daughter we transcribed these writings. This is my first book , this is the journey of my mind.
