As you know, every year I’ve have placed a poem to you in Newsday on Valentine’s day. I’ve been doing this since 1990.
So as a Belated Valentine’s Day gift and to celebrate our 30th Pearl Wedding Anniversary, I updated my previous book containing 26 poems already published in Newsday plus one that already appeared this year. The poems and accompanying pictures celebrate milestones in our life together. The marriages of our children, births of our grand-children, and scenes from our traveling.
I hope you enjoy strolling down memory lane with the pictures and reminiscing with the prose.

About Author
I was born in 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Helen and John O’Brien. Raised and educated in Brooklyn. Vietnam War Veteran and employed at Consolidated Edison of New York at positions of increasing responsibility until retirement in 2007. I’m married to my beautiful wife Barbara, with five children and seven grandchildren.
