An autobiography by a 90-year-old woman who spent her childhood in the village of Freeville, New York during the Great Depression. The author's account of family life provides insights into pastimes, routines, friendships,joys,challenges and loss during the 1930s and 1940s. In 1948, she moved with her husband to Titusville, Pennsylvania where they raised four children. The story continues throughout their careers of service to the local community and travels throughout the world in retirement years.

Born November 27, 1927 in Freeville NY to Harry and Ethel Neill Bush. Graduate in sociology from Cornell University, 1948. Married to William S. Blood for 70 years. Mother of four children, fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Executive Director of Titusville PA YWCA, 1967-1989. Member of Titusville United Methodist Church, Titusville Area Garden Club, and a Wednesday bridge club.
