About the Book

This essay was written to investigate to what extent is England’s ideology of virginity accurate and all embracing. The investigation was done using a number of different sources including, book sources, medical blogs, scholarly websites, videos, and sources containing historical manuscripts. The findings of this essay were based on historical facts and findings of scholars, historians, and medical professionals. The conclusion found in this essay was that English society’s ideology of virginity is accurate and all-embracing to a low extent. English speaking Christian society have an ideology of virginity which is intolerant and based on historical conventions, events, and beliefs, making it extremely outdated and inaccurate.
