Anna is an eleven year old girl who was put into foster care after losing her mother and father in a house fire. One home she goes to, her foster family wants to adopt a dog, and they let Anna pick who their dog will be, she picks Echo, a german shepherd that's been at the shelter for a long time, when she finds out that her foster family is planning to throw her back into foster care, she plans to leave with her beloved dog into the woods, can Anna and Echo survive out in the woods?
